Caleb Scholars

Lauryn Baldwin, Caleb Scholar

Lauryn Baldwin

Lauryn Baldwin is a newly awarded Caleb scholar who is obtaining her degree in Communication Design and double minoring in Marketing and Native American and Indigenous Studies at Fort Lewis College. Lauryn Baldwin plans to either attend law school or pursue a graduate degree in Public Health after earning her undergraduate degrees. Lauryn Baldwin is passionate about advocating for Inuit issues, whether it is visually through communication design, or overall health and wellbeing of Indigenous people.

I want to give back to Iñupiaq people in any way I can, it is important to me to give back to the communities that raised me but also the future generations to come. When I think about Inuit led advocacy, I think about Iñupiaq Illisat, respecting nature. By respecting nature and conservation advocacy, Inuits are preserving culture for future generations.
