Jazmyn Vent, Caleb Scholar

Jazmyn Vent

I’m currently working towards a B.A. in Native American and Indigenous Studies, the curriculum is grounded in understanding how historic and contemporary U.S. policies shape and impact tribal sovereignty, governance, and self-governance. I have an A.A.S. in Applied Business with a minor in Entrepreneurship and a Certificate in Tribal Governance from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. After obtaining my B.A., I plan to pursue a Master’s degree in Professional Studies in Arts and Cultural Leadership from the University of Minnesota. To me, Inuit-led conservation advocacy means protecting our sovereignty, culture, land, animals, and water.
